Aquatic Research and Environmental Assessment Center (AREAC)

The Aquatic Research and Environmental Assessment Center (AREAC) has three research themes:

  1. environmental assessment, and the effects of environmental drivers on biota;
  2. the behavior and biology of aquatic organisms; and
  3. biotechnology (in aquaculture and algal production).

AREAC welcomes Brooklyn College students and faculty to participate in research and educational opportunities at our facility.
